MICHELIN AMERICAS TRUCK TIRES
BACK

AN IDENTITY FOR EVERY TIRE

Michelin uses specific names, numbers or letters to identify applications, tread patterns, casing construction or benefits. And beginning in 2012, Michelin started updating its commercial truck tire names and sidewall markings to make their usage better understood by our customers. The new names such as MICHELIN® X® MULTI, X® LINE and X® WORKS will be easily visible on the sidewall.

UPDATES TO THE SIDEWALL MARKINGS INCLUDE:
  • The Brand: More visible, regardless of tire size
  • Technical Information: Size, axle position and other data are easy to understand
  • Usage Information: The trademark name and an associated pictogram that clearly indicates the usage (for example, a bus for the MICHELIN® X® COACH)
